2025/2026 NSS military training is available as an option for selected members of the 2025/2026 national service cohort. The National Service Authority (NSA) has launched this pilot scheme to broaden the experience of national service in Ghana.
The training is voluntary and will not affect anyone’s placement. Graduates who choose to take part will receive a structured military orientation before they report to their assigned agencies.
In a statement dated 17 June 2025, the NSA said a limited number of places are available. Interested applicants can sign up during online registration, open from 17 June to 1 July 2025. Final postings will only be confirmed once the training is complete, ensuring no one forfeits their placement.
This scheme forms part of wider reforms to promote discipline, patriotism and national unity among young graduates. The NSA has also improved its enrolment process with facial biometric checks linked to the Ghana Card and GPS-verified address entry for proximity-based postings.
To date, PIN codes have been released for 132 393 graduates from 100 accredited institutions. A further 908 private applicants await final verification.
